Dumfries & Galloway LEADER Programme is launching a new initiative - Capacity for Change (C4C) - aimed at small, rural communities that have not previously engaged with the LEADER programme.

C4C is a new approach which will see a dedicated project officer working closely with up to 10 rural communities across D&G, supporting individuals and groups to develop targeted ideas to make a difference to life in their community.  It is envisaged that a whole range of small project ideas could be supported from a related fund which has been ring-fenced for communities with populations below 500 residents.
